The Acid Pool is an Environmental threat on Balboa Island crossed before reaching the Ranger Station.
Summary
Being the only intended access point to the Ranger Station, the Acid Pool consists of a large pool of poison, with floating objects creating a path through it. If the player falls into the poison, they receive 10% damage per second until they escape the pool. Once stepped on, the floating objects will sink. Therefore, the player must move quickly to not slip into the pool. Bears do not interact with the acid pool in any way, as they will chase the player through it without taking damage.
