Advanced Purifier is a Food/Water item in Raft.
Summary[ | ]
The player can use the Advanced Purifier to purify water without the need of Planks. Much like the Simple Purifier, the Advanced Purifier uses a thermal desalination system, where water is turned into vapor, and thereby separated from the salt, and then collected. The advanced system, however, relies entirely on the heat coming from the sun and is therefore much more effective than the Simple Purifier. Additionally, the Advanced Purifier can hold up to five cups of Salt Water making its volume match the Empty Bottle.
Uses[ | ]
- The player can put up to five Cups of Saltwater into the Advanced Purifier at once.
- 51 seconds after each unit of saltwater is placed, that unit is converted to Purified Water. I.e. if 5 units are placed at once, they will all complete in 51 seconds; if units of saltwater are added at different times, they will convert at those times plus 51 seconds.
- After the water is purified, it is stored in a second container from where you can take out single cups. When Purified Water is taken from the purifier, more salt water can be added.
- The Advanced Purifier can only hold a total amount of five cups. If there are 2 cups of Fresh Water left, the player can only refill 3 Cups of Saltwater.
- Can be painted any colour with the
Paint Brush.
