Antenna is a Navigation item in Raft.

Summary[ | ]

Can be researched at the Research Table. Catches radio signals and, if properly connected, displays them on the Receiver (which itself also needs a battery).

Placement Requirements[ | ]

The Receiver must be placed at least one full floor above Foundation level (a single Pillar's height) and all three Antennas must be placed on the same floor as the Receiver, or one half level above or below. All Antennas must be placed at least 2 Foundation's length[note 1] away from the Receiver, while all being roughly 3½ Foundation's length[note 2] away from each other. The Antennas can be placed a maximum of 10 Foundation's length[note 3] away from the receiver before being too far away.

Making the smallest design setup for a functional Receiver requires the receiver to be placed in the middle of the three Antennas. Then place two Antennas expanding out to the left and right of the receiver by two foundation's length, and lastly the third placed slightly more than 2.5 foundation's length behind the receiver. An example of this can be seen in the Gallery below.
