Bears are found on Balboa Island. This island is found after the Cruise Ship. Bears have the same mechanism as lurkers (if you kill a bear but leave the area it will respawn)
Bears provide 4 leather, 2 meat, and 1 bear head. Bears take 6 shots with bow and metal arrows to kill.
