Summary[ | ]
The Metal Axe is a faster and more advanced version of the Stone Axe. It can chop down trees and remove parts from the raft, returning half of the resources used to craft said item. Hitting any item intended for the axe will deplete its uses, regardless of the item actually being harvested.
Uses[ | ]
- Can be used to chop down trees on Islands or ones in a Large Crop Plot, Advanced Large Crop Plot.
- Can be used to destroy structures created by the Building Hammer, but only returns half of the used resources.
Trivia[ | ]
- The Metal Axe was originally called simply "Axe" as it was the first available axe in the game. Redbeet Interactive later decided on having a simplified version and the Stone Axe was created while the Axe was renamed to Metal Axe. There are still remnants of this fact in the game code, where the Metal Axe is still referred to simply as "Axe" despite there now being two axes in the game.
