Disambig This article is about modding in general. For Raft ModLoader, see RaftModding.

Mods are add-ons that alter the way the game can be played.

Summary[ | ]

Generally speaking, mods are community made additions to a game, and as such is not endorsed by Redbeet Interactive nor Axolot Games. However, using mods is perfectly legal and can be seen as a way for players to make their own additions to the games they play. Many of the mods available in Raft offer extra content, as well as higher degrees of customization. Do note that once a mod has been used to add more content to the save file, uninstalling the mod can make the save file unstable or even corrupt - so use at your own risk.

Using mods[ | ]

Raft does not have any in-game system for creating, editing or using mods, so an external program is a need.

Most of mods can be used with Raft ModLoader by RaftModding community. Players may add their own mods, which are downloadable files that alter the game. Note that some players consider modding cheating - ask before using them in Multiplayer.
