A Palm Tree
Palm Trees can be found on both Small and Large Islands. When chopped down with an Axe, it will drop five Planks, and two Palm Leaves. There's a small chance of receiving Coconuts and Palm Seeds when chopping down a Palm Tree. Palm Seeds can be planted in Large Crop Plots to grow Palm Trees on the raft. After watering, it takes the Palm Seed 12 minutes to grow into a full-size tree.
A Palm Tree is felled in five chops. Every chop is predetermined as to what it yields, except for Coconuts which have a 17.6% chance of dropping from every chop, and Palm Seeds which have an 11.8% chance of dropping from every chop. Chopping down a Palm Tree entirely yields an average of 0.59 seeds, with a 46.6% chance of yielding at least one seed.
