Raw Meat is a raw Sustenance in Raft.

Summary

Raw Meat is obtained from Bears, Lurkers, and Mama Bear. Despite coming from different Animals, Raw Meat doesn't differentiate according to its source. Once one of the mentioned Animals has been killed, Raw Meat can be looted from the body.

Raw Meat can be eaten raw or cooked into Cooked Meat. Despite being categorized as other meat items, Raw Meat does not give a Thirst penalty when eaten raw, making it a perfectly viable source of food when exploring Vasagatan or Balboa Island. This means the player can make due with only bringing Fresh Water while exploring these places.
