Stubthe Version 1.0 storyThis Story page attempts to explain the overall story line, as well as the notes and pictures found underway. The story can be started by crafting and installing a Receiver and three Antennas on the raft. Four-digit codes found around the world of Raft can be entered into the Receiver, and the story line can be started. All such codes are randomized from player to player. == The First Chapter == === Radio Tower === Radio Tower The first available code will lead the player to the first destination of the journey: the Radio Tower. In and around the tower the player will find various hints in form of notes and transcripts about the survivors previously stationed at the tower. In the topmost room of the Radio Tower, the player will find the first survivor, Tala, as well as a whiteboard with a blurred picture and the text "UTOPIA?" next to it, hinting at the game's final location, Utopia, which the player at this point is unaware exists. The location of Utopia is unknown, but instead the code to an abandoned super yacht named Vasagatan is provided. Apart from the notes concerning the engineers' story, a number of useful Materials can be found in and around the tower and the Blueprint: Head Light, Blueprint: Recycler items are provided, a few Loot Boxes can also be found inside of the Radio Tower. ==== Notes and Lore ==== {{Spoiler|Click to expand|Click to collapse| There are four story-related notes found at the Radio Tower. Three of these are diary entries, while the last is a note concerning a received radio communication. Story of the Radio Tower The diary entries mention three characters, Cuckoo, Owl, and Sparrow, all of which are bird-inspired pseudonyms. They are likely engineers since the notes mention them working on reactors. They are currently traversing the seas in an attempt to reach a location known as Selene, at which a reactor is being built. The first note, written by Cuckoo and dated December 12th, describes their struggles as one of them, Sparrow, is becoming less talkative. Also, they are currently located at the Radio Tower. The radio still works despite half of the facility being underwater. Cuckoo mentions that their team might be "the last hope for humanity". In the second note, written by Cuckoo in January, it is revealed that Sparrow has taken their only boat. Cuckoo and Owl are stuck at the Radio Tower. Cuckoo is frustrated with the secrecy of their mission and not knowing the other engineers' real names. The third and last diary note is labelled February, again written by Cuckoo. At this time, a number of radio transmission has been received, so the two engineers are keeping their hopes high. Owl believes that Sparrow betrayed them, while Cuckoo thinks there must have been a good reason behind Sparrow's actions. Lastly, Cuckoo hopes that Sparrow was able to finish the reactor at Selene - for everyone's sake. Owl's Radio Notes The note contains a few radio traces hinting at a number of locations and events that have taken place in the world of Raft. Additionally, some of Owl's personal thoughts are scribbled down on the paper. There are a total of six entries: # 22 Dec) A distress call from Balboa Island. # 9 Jan) A comment on Cuckoo's inability to see reason. Owl is likely referring to the fact that Sparrow took the boat and left them to their likely death. # 2 Feb) The note is unclear, but the likely explanation is that Owl receives a transmission with gunshots in the background. Someone on the other end mentions Tangaroa City, but Owl is not able to conclude anything. # 14 Feb) Communication from Sparrow is received. Owl assumes he must have reached Selene. # 6 Mar) Another distress call is received from Varuna Point. A missing child is mentioned. # 16 Apr) Another cryptic note, but Owl likely received a radio message in which Utopia is being mentioned. Owl does not believe such a place exists.}} === Vasagatan === === Balboa Island === == The Second Chapter == === Caravan Island === === Tangaroa === == The Third Chapter == === Varuna Point === === Temperance === === Utopia === de:Story
