Birch Seed is a Miscellaneous item in Raft.
Summary
The Birch Seed has a chance of dropping while felling Birch Trees. The trees are found on Balboa and Evergreen Islands. The drop chance of the seeds has been lowered to 13.5% as of Update 10.07. Everytime the player hits a Birch Tree with their axe, a Birch Seed may drop.
Uses
- Birch Seeds can be planted to grow Birch Trees in Large Crop Plots.
- Trees can then be felled to acquire Planks and more Birch Seeds, which can then be planted. Since the tree is felled in five swings and the return rate of the seeds is under 1/5th, the player will eventually run out of seeds.
